Due to the historic nature of our 1872 main property, cottages constructed in the 1930s and 40s, and no footprint modifications subsequent to the enactment of ADA, we regret that the Glen Arbor Bed & Breakfast and Cottages does not offer fully accessible guest rooms per Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), 1991 Title III or Michigan Act 220 of 1976.
We do, however, have 1st floor rooms and one cottage with accommodations that may be suitable to guests with limited mobility and other disabilities. This includes two or three step access to the main building and the one cottage possible with a walker or cane, walk-in showers with grab bars in all bathrooms, doorways no less than 30”, complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access, and street parking with an ADA accessible sidewalk at the corner in front of the property. The features of each room are described on our Accommodations page and on our Booking Engine by Think Reservations.
Further, the property is smoke-free, pet-free (with the exception of specifically-trained service dogs), and we can, within reason, adjust breakfasts for guests with allergies and food concerns.
