Glen Arbor Bed & Breakfast Accessibility
Luxury Condos:
Two of our condos (North Manitou and South Manitou) offer high-end single floor living, accessed by an outdoor elevator for both people and gear. Bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room and gorgeous outdoor space all on the same level. Both of them have bathrooms with deep soaker tubs/showers which is a large step depending on the person’s mobility. North Manitou and South Manitou are located on the second story of The Momentum building next-door to the B&B. There is a ramp access from the sidewalk on the southeast corner of that building. The elevator is roughly 40 feet from the ramp.
Two steps up onto our deck, and another two steps to the front door (all with grab bars.) The deck can also be accessed by the ramp roughly 60 feet around the deck. Of the five beautifully appointed rooms in the bed-and-breakfast, two are on the ground floor.
Note: Neither of these rooms have true ADA bathrooms, but we’ve made every effort to have wide doorways and plenty of space within. Piping Plover Suite has the most accessible bathroom, with a large walk in shower. Crystal River has a deep soaker tub with shower, so depending upon the accessibility needs, it may not be suitable.

- Street parking with an ADA-accessible sidewalk at the corner in front of the property.

We also consistently update the core website WordPress code, PHP code, theme code, website plugins, and security keys. Keeping all website code current makes it easier for people with disabilities to access the website more efficiently.
7. Glen Arbor Bed and Breakfast & Condos utilizes a third-party ADA website widget on every website paged, to help people with disabilities access the website more efficiently. This on page ADA plugin is from Equal Web (Glen Arbor Bed and Breakfast &Condos assumes no legal responsibility for functionality of this third-party ADA widget).
8. Glen Arbor Bed and Breakfast & Condos uses an ADA accessible online booking engine from Think Reservations. All online booking engines must be ADA certified.
9. Our website uses ADA recommended clear color contrast for all images and text.
