A note from Glen Arbor….

Please know how much we miss you all. We are sheltering-in-place at the Glen Arbor Bed & Breakfast, washing our hands religiously, and keeping careful social distances. We understand it may be a while; but we’re also preparing for a safe opening whenever we hear from medical professionals, the Governor and the Centers for Disease Control that we may safely welcome you once again.

The fact is, we are feeling this as well. We are in the hospitality business; it is always our priority to provide everyone with the best possible care in the inn and cottages. We pride ourselves on keeping the Bed & Breakfast sparkling clean. Now we’re creating more meticulous practices for when we reopen:

  • Delivering breakfast on trays to your room or suite, with everything prepared to immaculate standards and individually plated;
  • Revving up our already conscientious procedures such as additional wipe downs each day of all hard surfaces -- including the kitchen, bathrooms, dining room, doorknobs, light switches and railings – during your stay and in preparation for each new guest check-in;
  • Placing hand sanitizing stations at all entrances;
  • Offering flexibility for adjusting reservations that work for everyone.

We so appreciate you. Please stick with us. Please do not cancel a reservation. If you can: Postpone. Reschedule. Buy or convert to a future credit. Livelihoods depend on it.

We are blessed to call this slice of heaven home. Rest assured that we’ll be super-prepared whenever you make it back to Glen Arbor and the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Until then, Stay Safe. Be Well. Shelter-in-Place. And remember, Social Distancing is everything. This is real.

Perfect getaway: My wife and I recently stayed the weekend at this historic charming inn. We thoroughly enjoyed our suite (Sleeping Bear) which was very clean, roomy and well furnished. The breakfasts are awesome as were the innkeepers and other guests. Lots of fun conversation and ideas of things to do while in the area: restaurants, shopping, art galleries, hiking, biking and guided bass fishing. We are looking forward to future stays here.

5 Star stay!: From the minute you check in, the hospitality and surroundings are outstanding. Set in the bustling small town of Glen Arbor, you have a sense of going back in time when you are at the B&B. The Inn is walking distance to fun shops, restaurants as well as Lake Michigan beaches and trails. The breakfast I had was one of the best ever...... This whole experience was both relaxing and big fun.

Up North Charm done right!: Every little detail has been considered at this charming Up North getaway. The location is perfect for our family. It’s close to the beach, shopping, and dining. The breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be back!
