In the heart of Glen Arbor and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, the inn's four unique rooms and two classic bed-and-kitchen cottages are perfectly suited for social distancing. Careful attention to safety guidelines including homemade "carry out" breakfasts for those in the inn, and personal attention for every guest. The same trusted inn, but with new safeguards and protocols.

Some of our favorite spots are now open and finding creative ways to bring those exceptional experiences for you. Trails, kayak and bike livery, wineries, shops and restaurants, lighthouses and backroads. Some may only have carry-out, curbside, or slightly lesser service, but be patient. There is always the beach and the water for an unforgettable Leelanau stay.

We're sanitizing, washing our hands often, keeping careful social distances. and using masks in our public spaces. We're open beginning May 29th, while honoring all the safeguards and protocols laid out for us by the state, our local health department, and the hospitality industry. That means revving up our already conscientious cleaning procedures in preparation for every new guest check-in.

  • We look forward to working with you to complete your online check in, plan your homemade "carry out" breakfast if you are a guest in the inn, and honoring the social distancing we've laid out to keep you safe:
  • Understand, at the same time, that we cannot check-in anyone who is presenting COVID-19 symptoms like coughing and fever, are not able to enter your accommodation while you are with us, and ask that no cottage guest enter the inn.

Know that we anticipate you, too, will wear a mask in common shared spaces. We even have a small supply if needed.

Perfect getaway: My wife and I recently stayed the weekend at this historic charming inn. We thoroughly enjoyed our suite (Sleeping Bear) which was very clean, roomy and well furnished. The breakfasts are awesome as were the innkeepers and other guests. Lots of fun conversation and ideas of things to do while in the area: restaurants, shopping, art galleries, hiking, biking and guided bass fishing. We are looking forward to future stays here.

5 Star stay!: From the minute you check in, the hospitality and surroundings are outstanding. Set in the bustling small town of Glen Arbor, you have a sense of going back in time when you are at the B&B. The Inn is walking distance to fun shops, restaurants as well as Lake Michigan beaches and trails. The breakfast I had was one of the best ever...... This whole experience was both relaxing and big fun.

Up North Charm done right!: Every little detail has been considered at this charming Up North getaway. The location is perfect for our family. It’s close to the beach, shopping, and dining. The breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be back!
