Q: How far in advance can I plan a group rental?
A: We take bookings a full year in advance, Giving you lots of space for planning. That said, sometimes we have availability in a much shorter framework, and you could plan a getaway for your group within a month. Feel free to reach out for availability or look for openings on our online reservation calendar.

Q: Is there an additional charge for extra people?
A: It is just $35 per person per night for extra people beyond the first two on your reservation.

Q: Is there a surcharge for renting the whole B&B?
A: We do not charge an additional fee for renting out the whole property (Or the whole B&B). This is a great opportunity to have a slice of paradise and run around like you own the place. The fee is whatever our regular room rate is, depending on the time of year.

Deal Alert! During winter months from mid November into mid April, we have competitive seasonal pricing that is quite low:
$200/night per room for three rooms
$175/night per room for four rooms
$150/night per room for five rooms

Q: Could we use the kitchen?
A: Only for simple food preparation. We do not allow groups to cook in our B&B kitchen. There are rare exceptions, but for the most part, we keep the kitchen tidy and ready to go for breakfast. That said, there are two refrigerators in our dining room space, beverage station, ice maker, and everything you can think of to keep snacks going throughout the day, hold leftovers, etc.

Q: Could we have a special dinner catered?
A: Absolutely. Special dinners are of the most luxurious things we have to offer! Our innkeeper is a talented chef and well equipped to make an excellent meal. There’s something special about lingering around the table; good food, good conversation and nothing on the schedule except for watching sunset.

We can create that experience to fit your group’s needs and budget. From a fancy wine paired dinner to soup and salad and apple cobbler, Consider working with the innkeeper to see if this might be a fit for your group.

Dinners start at $35/person
Packed lunches are $20/person

Q: Is there a conference room?
A: We do not have a conference room. The dining room can be a great space for meetings, as could be our living room or the living spaces in the condos. One of our favorite collaborators is Glen Lake Library, and for FREE we can reserve their wonderful meeting room, which has multiple tools for doing presentations. A couple of our groups have done that for the more technical business planning work of board retreats, etc.

Q: How does breakfast work?
A: We have a fabulous article about what it’s like in the kitchen during breakfast time. But the short answer is that we typically prepare a gorgeous plated breakfast at 9 AM, and with your group’s plans, if a different time works best, we can do that.

Q: We have folks with dietary issues. Is that a deal breaker?
A: Again, we love people and we want to make this a success. And our Innkeeper has years of experience cooking for all sorts of dietary needs/restrictions/allergies. We’ve got you covered!

We’ve also had groups who have needed a kosher kitchen, or a juice fast weekend… I’m happy to work with you.

Q: Can people pay separately?
A: Yes, we can create a folio for your group rental and folks can call to pay separately for their stay. We do require a 50% deposit to make the booking. When your individual people make reservations, that deposit will then be refunded back to you.

That said, we’re always happy to streamline it onto one bill and keep it simple. Whatever works best for you.

Q: Who do I talk to?
A: We are proud of our little business and are very attentive to the phone and the email. You can reach out directly to our Innkeeper, Laura Cavender at 231-334-6789 and email us at stay@glenarborlodging.com
