Check-in/Check-out and Minimum Reservations

  • Check-in/check out: Check-in is 3:00-8:00 p.m., with no early check-in option. If late arrival is absolutely unavoidable, please speak with the innkeeper about arrangements. Check-out is no later than 11:00 a.m. 
  • Minimum night reservation: A two night minimum is required for the inn, except for a three night minimum Labor Day weekend, and a four night minimum including the Fourth of July. Minimum stays in the Bed & Kitchen cottages vary with the season.
  • Full house reservations: Wedding parties, family reunions, friends’ excursion weekend and other full house reservations are considered special events and require a contract agreement through the innkeeper. 

Deposit, Cancellation and Payment

  • Single night stays in the inn, when available: Full payment is required at the time of the reservation.
  • Inn reservations of any length, and cottage reservations of three nights or less: A 50% deposit is required when a reservation is confirmed, and the remaining balance charged at 14 days prior to arrival. We regret there is no refund once full payment is charged.
  • Cancellations: Inn reservations, and cottage reservations for three nights or less as noted above, may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to scheduled arrival to receive a refund of the deposit less a $35 service fee.
  • Cottage reservations of four nights or more. Prior to May 1st, a 50% deposit at the time of booking is required for cottage reservations of four nights or more. The balance will be charged on May 1st. Cottage reservations of four nights or more made after May 1st require full payment at the time of booking. We regret we cannot provide a refund once a reservation is paid in full.
  •  All cancellations must be through a direct call (231.334.6789) or by email to the innkeeper (innkeeper@glenarborbnb.com). We are unable to take cancellations left on voicemail.

We accept cash, personal checks, VISA or MasterCard, Debit or Check Cards for payment. In addition, we accept our own or Michigan Bed & Breakfast Association gift certificates only. No other gift certificates are accepted for payment.
